The red grouper is a dominant predator in the coral reefs of the western Atlantic Ocean. Red Grouper is a lean, moist fish with a distinctive yet mild flavor, large flakes and a firm texture.

The two favorite ways to cook Grouper are grilling or frying, but it can also be poached, steamed, baked, broiled or sautéed – and is also excellent in soups or chowders.

Grouper is considered a good source of vitamin B6, vitamin B12, phosphorus, potassium, and selenium, as well as, Omega-3.
